The ideal candidate knows how to tell stories visually and can perform active, engaging live shots. You should possess credibility, personality, and be willing to go into the field to cover major stories. As a newsroom leader, you will mentor team members, write and edit scripts with a conversational tone, and work efficiently under tight deadlines. You should also have strong live anchoring skills, the ability to develop sources, and a versatile, enterprising spirit. Reporting to the News Director, your role encompasses anchoring, social media engagement, guiding reporters and producers, and upholding journalistic integrity.
