Position Overview As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Greeting and assisting customers positively, answering questions, and resolving inquiries. Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment. Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance. Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store. Supporting ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling. Supporting loss prevention efforts. Assuming management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Retail management experience preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs. Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills in customer service, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
