IMMEDIATE PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER OPPORTUNITY – MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Ontario, CA . This is a part-time, in-office position with the potential for increased hours based on performance and business needs.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm 

Requirements for the Bookkeeper Role:

• Minimum of 5 years of recent bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with Sage 100 Cloud Advantage 2020
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, and factoring workflows
• Solid understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills
• Must be capable of working independently and taking initiative

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

• Process vendor invoices and enter accurately into Sage 100
• Maintain weekly AP reports and manage vendor contact records
• Generate and send customer invoices; post payments in Sage
• Process online refunds (via Braintree, PayPal, eBay)
• Apply AR credits and maintain accurate AR/cash receipt logs
• File payroll taxes and complete state filings (EDD, DETR)
• Prepare and issue monthly sales commission checks
• Submit and track daily factoring requests and remittances
• Reconcile daily deposits and create detailed cash reports
• Prepare daily, monthly, and end-of-month cash flow reports
• Post journal entries; assist with tax prepayments and filings
• Support monthly and year-end closing tasks
• Respond to internal/external financial communications
• Support employee expense tracking and credit applications
