Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package. Pay is hourly with expected first year earnings between $45000 - $55000 / year including incentives and auto allowance/reimbursement. This is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

**Overview**
The Manager Chain is responsible for promotions, sales, pricing, and service of products and implementing chain account strategies and plans.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for all assigned sales and profitability goals for mid-size national and regional accounts
+ Establish and maintain relationships with regional and national buyer
+ Monitor and implement pricing, merchandising, and competitive activity
+ Partner with National, regional, and corporate accounts for fast and effective compliance
+ Provide timely market information to the management team regarding pricing, merchandising, and market trends
+ Monitor field implementation and execution of national and regional programs to ensure: accurate product pricing, effective discount management, and management of program deadlines
+ Coordinate and monitor ads, in-store features, and activities
+ Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability, replenishment, and distribution and conduct spot checks on inventory and monthly pricing report
+ Track sales dollars and cases on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
+ Identify short and long account opportunities and create plans to leverage products and relationships
+ Coordinate chain sales calls, vendor meetings, and vendor visits
**Additional Primary Responsibilities**
+ Partner with suppliers to identify and prospect chain account opportunities
+ Assist in monitoring the impact and effectiveness of programs currently in place
+ Provide monthly reports to chain account leadership
+ Attend chain account promotions and events
+ May manage a team of Chain Specialists; defines expectations, monitors progress, and counsels if expectations are not met
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Five years of relevant experience
+ Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance by state laws
+ Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
+ Must be able to operate internal functions of SAP
+ Must understand syndicated data and implementation strategies
+ Must be able to build solid relationships with Suppliers, Sales Departments, Warehouse Managers, Delivery Managers, Sales Reps, and Merchandisers
+ Comprehensive knowledge of products
+ Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications software
**Physical Demands**
+ Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
+ Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
+ Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours
+ May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs
