For more information, visit Job Summary: We are searching for a high-performing, strategic, and self-motivated Corporate Communications Manager with excellent writing and communications planning skills to join our team! This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that plays a key part in executing CooperCompanies' internal communications strategy. As part of a global functions team, this role may support communications across CooperCompanies, CooperVision, and CooperSurgical, offering exceptional access to leadership and an opportunity to drive meaningful initiatives. Responsibilities Essential Functions & Accountabilities: Endorse and support a CooperCompanies internal communications strategy to increase visibility, focus and alignment around strategic business priorities, key growth drivers, and employee engagement. Support on intranet strategy execution . Uphold brand standards, create content, and provide support to global intranet content managers. Partner with, influence, and guide functional and regional communications team leads to provide visibility of upcoming global communications, customized messaging, templated resources for use and/or cascading throughout the business units. Serve as integral team member on communications projects and initiatives as needed. Create and deliver best-in-class messaging for corporate news, campaigns, and special projects. Create and post global content to internal channels to include intranet/internet, mass employee emails, town halls and presentations, large-scale announcements. Support corporate public relations and social media as needed. Continually evaluate and use metrics to measure the performance of internal communications programs. Utilize results to identify opportunities to further increase employee engagement. Partner with internal clients to encourage cross-divisional collaboration , ensure message alignment, foster relationships, surface critical communication needs, identify and act on departmental synergies. Provide executive communications support as needed. Contribute to communications editorial calendar, regularly highlighting key business priorities, cultural engagement opportunities, innovation, brand and patient storytelling, as well as educational content. Ensure visibility of upcoming events and communications by CooperCompanies, CooperVision, and CooperSurgical team members. Implement new and creative approaches to increase internal awareness of organizational initiatives, product launches, and other areas of priority identified by divisional leadership. Assist in cultivation of a shared archive of Cooper communication assets including b-roll and imagery. As part of the Corporate Communications team, provide crisis communication support as needed. Travel: Less than 10% Global travel may be required Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience making significant contributions to corporate communication programs designed to drive organizational change. Strong written, editorial, and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects. Design and/or video skills a plus. Proven ability to adapt initiatives and communications for cultural differences. Self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates highest level of integrity. A natural and effective collaborator who can work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Executive presence and the ability to use tact and professionalism, including in times of stress. Must be able to work at times under tight deadlines and manage accordingly to turn around deliverables. Prior experience required working directly with senior leaders and executives on communications in various forms. Work Environment: Global involvement that requires flexibility to support different time zones. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of professional communications experience in corporate communications. Specific experience with employee and executive communications preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, and related fields, or equivalent experience. For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $103,438.00 and $137,917.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.
