Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing with expertise in modern B2B digital/performance marketing, coupled with strong traditional marketing skills and significant event experience. This role is ideal for a senior professional who excels in both strategy and execution, acting as a player-coach to build and lead a small team while actively contributing to day-to-day marketing initiatives.


You’ll own brand awareness, lead generation and business growth by leveraging a broad skill set across content marketing, digital advertising, events, partnerships and social media. The ideal candidate is a remarkable writer, a strong collaborator with sales and a continuous learner who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.


This high-impact role requires ongoing communication with the CMO and Co-Founders to align marketing efforts with overarching business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning
  • Working with the CMO, develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Align marketing initiatives with business objectives, ensuring seamless collaboration with sales and leadership teams.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine campaigns, messaging, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Working closely with the CMO to refine and submit the annual marketing budget based on the plan and sales target prescribed by leadership
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the competitive landscape in order to maintain and evolve our differentiation from other providers in the HubSpot ecosystem
  • Maintain currency on modern marketing strategies and tactics, e.g., zero-click marketing in order to be at the forefront of the art of the possible
Website, Content & Messaging
  • Own the website-  updates, reporting, conversion optimization and online brand evolution as we add more pages and continue to build out the website
  • Oversee the creation of compelling sales enablement content across multiple formats (blogs, white papers,  eBooks, case studies, videos, social media posts etc.) that drives engagement and conversions
  • Develop targeted messaging for key audience segments, ensuring consistent brand voice across channels
  • Partner with sales to oversee the creation of effective enablement tools such as presentations, one-pagers, and email sequences.
  • Define distribution plan for all content based on audience, channel and target vertical.
HubSpot Expertise
  • Leverage HubSpot’s Content Hub to design and edit web pages, landing pages, CTAs, and forms on Mole Street website
  • Build and optimize demand generation campaigns with automated email sequences and workflows in HubSpot’s Marketing Hub
  • Use HubSpot and other universally accepted tools to execute and measure campaigns, manage lead nurturing, and analyze marketing performance
  • Including but not limited to Google Search Console, HubSpot, Looker, Excel, Clarity and others
Demand Generation & Digital Marketing
  • Manage multi-channel demand generation campaigns across PPC, SEO, email, social media, and retargeting.
  • Liaise and serve as the main POC for the SEO agency of record for all website updates and overall content strategy 
  • Optimize marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) to nurture leads and accelerate pipeline growth.
  • Execute and monitor paid advertising campaigns to achieve targeted ROI and key performance metrics.
  • Responsible for driving a minimum number of MQLs and SQLs each month/quarter based on the sales plan set by leadership

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in SaaS or Tech Services marketing, with a focus on B2B audiences.


Skills & Expertise

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging.
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and how to manage conversion rate optimization(CRO)
  • Experience collaborating with senior technical sales team to drive leads based on industry vertical, client use case and key channel relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with the HubSpot platform for creating and editing web pages, landing pages, CTAs, forms, newsletters, and demand-generation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Account-Based Marketing marketing, including how print collateral, traditional event marketing, and direct mail can drive additional results when coupled with a comprehensive digital strategy
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe InDesign, or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience managing budgets and driving ROI-focused campaigns.
