To Learn More Visit: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conducting geotechnical field investigations; Monitoring heavy civil construction projects; Performing and reviewing engineering calculations; Earthquake engineering; Landfill design and permitting; Dam and levee evaluations; Developing construction documents; and Writing and reviewing engineering reports. Education and Licensure Bachelor's degree in civil and/or environmental engineering. (required) Advanced degree the same. (preferred) Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year from hire. (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications Prior internship or work experience in engineering consulting. (preferred) Experience with geotechnical and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Slope/W, and PLAXIS. (preferred) Regular field work and overnight travel (50%). (required) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required) Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec's total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
