Entry Level Training Device Technician (Training Device Maintenance)

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists in the repair, test, installation, configuration, upgrade and modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
• Performs general pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices. Orders, ships and receives parts and components.
• Assists in troubleshooting to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in a role that required analytical skills
• 3+ years of experience with electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces
• 1 + years of experience with computer software loading, trouble shooting and repairs
• 6 months of experience on flight simulators

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Sound analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and interfaces.
• Software loading experience.

Summary pay rate: $40,800 to $55,200
