Primary Duty/Job Statement:

As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of all facility maintenance activities across our locations. The FMM is responsible for sub run-rate performance of a $7M OPEX budget and maximizing internal labor utility and quality.

From preventive maintenance to special projects, your role is pivotal in ensuring customer value is optimized. We’re looking for a leader with a proven track record in multi-facility maintenance management, equipped with sharp analytical and organizational skills.

Fundamental Duties:

• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians
• Maintain budget performance under the monthly run rate for each assigned area
• Oversee parts inventory for facilities equipment
• Assess current and future maintenance needs
• Collaborate with management to develop project scopes, request quotes, and oversee contractor performance
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational standards are met
• Oversee special projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and cost-effectiveness
• Analyze maintenance data to identify cost-saving strategies and present recommendations to the Director of Maintenance
• Review and approve invoices to ensure alignment with service agreements
• Identify training needs for technicians and coordinate necessary training
• Stay ahead of the curve by identifying new technologies that enhance performance and customer experience

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance

Attendance/Schedule:

• Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work required
• Travel may include overnight stays

Preferred Minimum Experience/Education:

• A bachelor’s degree or professional certification (PMP, CFM, etc.) is preferred
• Minimum five years of relevant multi-facility maintenance management experience
• Familiarity with HVAC, Electrical, Landscape, Roofing, Plumbing, or Commercial Refrigeration is a plus
• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Office, and Teams

Training Requirements:

• Continuous professional development through on-the-job training and formal training programs.
• Must complete CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) training and certification
• New hire and workplace safety training, along with other required seminars

Supervision:

• Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance
• Manages assigned Facilities Maintenance Technicians
