Laurel School District NOTIFICATION OF VACANCY FULL-TIME CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE QUALIFICATIONS: General cleaning and repair person with knowledge of custodial and maintenance work. Perform the necessary duties and make repairs to the school buildings, grounds, and equipment. Custodian/Maintenance duties encompass, but not limited to: Mechanical /electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, setting up for daily events, painting, preparation of athletic fields, general custodial work and other needs of the District as assigned by the Director of Buildings and Grounds. Hours are a minimum of 40 hours per week. Regular schedule includes working daylight every other Saturday. SALARY Competitive salary/ wages based on experience, work history, and skills assessment. BENEFITS: The position comes with all rights and benefits of the collective bargaining unit agreement including health benefits, dental, vision, life insurance, and the opportunity to become vested in PSERS.
