This is a remote position , but candidates must reside in Missouri and have extensive local experience . About the Role: As a Principal Environmental Professional, you will lead complex remediation projects, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in expanding our client base. You'll work closely with leadership to shape strategy, drive growth, and deliver high-impact environmental solutions across Illinois and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage environmental remediation projects from concept to completion. Develop and maintain strong client relationships; identify and pursue new business opportunities. Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates. Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for project deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering , Geology , or a related field. Professional licensure ( PE or PG ) in Missouri. 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on remediation. Strong business development background with a history of growing a book of business. Deep knowledge of Illinois environmental regulations and local market dynamics.
