Job Title: QC Microbiology Analyst 1
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–4 or 9–5 (flexible)
Pay: $22/hour (no shift differential)

Position Overview:
The QC Microbiology Analyst 1 performs routine microbiological testing to ensure product quality and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct microbiology tests on finished products, stability samples, and special requests.
Handle and prepare microbial cultures using aseptic techniques and lab equipment.
Accurately document test results following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Review testing and ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety standards.
Assist in audits by maintaining clean, organized lab areas and up-to-date records.
Support lab investigations and enter results into data systems (LIMS).
Follow safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE.
Participate in continuous improvement and lab cleanliness (6S).
Qualifications:
Education:
BS in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or similar;
OR
High school diploma/GED + 4 years of relevant experience;
OR
Associate degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience:
No experience required with a BS degree.
Lab or sterile technique experience is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organization and multitasking ability.
Good written and verbal communication.
Basic knowledge of microbiology lab techniques.
Familiarity with lab data systems (LIMS).
Problem-solving mindset and teamwork-oriented.
