Role Summary We are seeking for a dynamic Sr. Staff Enterprise Architect (PMT) leading the design and implementation of the overarching enterprise architecture for the process, method and tool landscape for our joint venture. You will act as a driver of innovation and a creator of sustainable PMT solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration within the Joint Venture as well as with Rivian and Volkswagen Group. This senior position reporting to the Director of Process, Methods and Tools, is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of electric mobility. Responsibilities Developing and implementing an enterprise architecture strategy across all BIAT levels (Business, Information, Application, Technology). Designing and optimizing the overall process, methods, and tool landscape to support the joint venture’s strategic goals. Facilitating collaboration between Rivian and Volkswagen Group to maximize synergies and achieve shared objectives. Engage with executive leadership, business units, and technical teams to align architecture objectives with corporate/business strategy as well as managing expectations. Identifying and promoting innovation opportunities in business processes and models. Leading the selection and integration of tools and technologies to enhance organizational efficiency and collaboration. Providing strategic guidance to interdisciplinary teams to align architecture initiatives with business goals. Managing transformation projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Mentoring and coaching team members to foster knowledge sharing and best practices. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in an international and dynamic environment. Deep understanding of BIAT frameworks and their practical application. Proven expertise in designing and implementing processes, methods, and tools in complex organizations. Understanding of systems and software engineering principles and methodologies. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills . Team player with high degree of self-responsibility. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with automotive or electric vehicle systems is a plus. Experience in cross company collaboration is a plus. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $191,600 - $239,500 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
