Job Summary Improvix is seeking a Senior Systems Integrator to support a large U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) program. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions using MuleSoft and API management technologies. The candidate will collaborate with both technical and business teams to develop strategies for system integration, ensuring secure and seamless data flow across platforms. Responsibilities include guiding architecture, adhering to best practices, and mentoring junior staff. The position is onsite in the DC area. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, high-performance integration solutions with MuleSoft and API technologies. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop appropriate integration strategies. Develop and manage APIs (RESTful, SOAP) using MuleSoft API Gateway, ensuring security and efficiency. Implement security policies like OAuth and JWT. Monitor and optimize API performance and reliability. Lead the development of integration solutions on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, emphasizing reusability and scalability. Create MuleSoft connectors for enterprise and third-party systems. Ensure MuleSoft ESB solutions meet business and technical needs. Use Anypoint Studio for creating flows, transformations, and error handling. Maintain comprehensive documentation and stay updated on latest integration trends. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years in systems integration, with strong MuleSoft experience. Proven expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, and connectors. Experience in API design, security, and versioning. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud integrations. Proficiency in Java and DataWeave. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience with JMS, MQ, SOAP, REST, and file transfer protocols. Strong communication skills and ability to lead and mentor teams. Desirable Skills MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes. Knowledge of Microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
