Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Manage delivery and review of federal and state tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals

Provide strategic tax planning and advice on complex tax issues and transactions

Oversee and review tax provisions in compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 740)

Develop client relationships and deliver comprehensive solutions in collaboration with other firm service lines

Mentor, train, and supervise junior professionals

Implement best practices in risk management and technical tax delivery

Stay current on U.S. tax regulations, domestic and international

Build firm reputation and support business development efforts

You should have most of the following

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, Economics or related field
• CPA or JD (required)
• Minimum 8 years of tax experience, preferably within public accounting
• Proficient in CCH ProSystem FX
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising and mentoring staff
• Expertise in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and deliver high-level service
• Analytical mindset with entrepreneurial spirit
