As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting with extensive hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop . You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting the leadership team with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll entries

• Manage monthly closing processes and financial reporting

• Reconcile and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online and Desktop

• Track project costs, insurance payments, and vendor invoices

• Prepare financial statements and job costing reports

• Assist with year-end tax preparation and liaise with CPA or tax professionals

• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and alert leadership to financial trends

• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Required Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop is a must

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Experience with restoration, construction, or service-based industries (preferred but not required)

• Comfortable handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with job costing and insurance billing

• Familiarity with industry tools like JobNimbus, Xactimate, Dash or other project management software

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
