As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your expertise will help maintain the appearance and hygiene of our furry clients, contributing to their overall happiness.

Duties

• Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess each pet's grooming needs and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services provided.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up communication.
• Stay updated on grooming techniques, trends, and best practices in animal care.
• Assist in managing appointments and scheduling to ensure efficient workflow in the grooming area.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistant or animal care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Experience in pet sitting or dog training is a plus.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, even those that may be anxious or difficult to groom.
• A background in veterinary care or as a veterinary technician is advantageous but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
